Sparking Change Workshops
Do you want you life to be more engaging?
[Please excuse the polish on this page as I am working out how I want to share this information. I hope this work in progress is an inspiration to you. 🤠]
Most of my work, including organizing, is based on getting you what you want. That is why I am creating a space to discuss and put to use how the brain works and its implication.
You want to make a difference either in your life, other’s lives, or both. Knowing how your brain works is not merely intriguing it will put
I offer 3 workshops currently. They are intended to be both highly informative as well as inviting as a good book… in discussion form. They are best taken in order as listed below, but each one stands well on its own as well. I usually host them on Zoom. They are all five hours long, but are usually broken into two 2.5 hr episodes on different days or with an hour lunch.
What you do with the information can be diverse and likely change how you approach the world!
The workshops are:
Wired that Way
A workshop that turns the popular understanding of how the brain works upside down.
What Color is Change?
A workshop about how central personalities are to how we and others limit as well as propel ourselves.
The Art and Science of Transformational Change
A workshop that homes in on what is at stake to making change happen.
that desired change more within your grasp.
Each workshop is $150.
As a stand alone workshop, I offer Wired That Way four times a year starting at 10 am on the following Saturdays:
2025:
July 19th
October 18th
2026:
January 17th
April 18th

Book club?
As I figure out how to provide more follow up for the conversations that these workshops ignite, I’m trying out facilitating different spaces.
One of those spaces is a book club. Here are some books we’ve discussed so far:
7 and 1/2 Lessons About the Brain by Dr. Lisa Feldman-Barrett
The Storytelling Animal by Jonathan Gottschall
Currently we are reading Deviate by Beau Lotto
To get the most out what we read we meet about every other week about a chapter at a time. Some have pointed out that this group is not a conventional book club. The book is mostly a substrate for the discussion. The books chapter provides fertile content to explore. We don’t want to know simply what the author is trying to convey, but also how it applies to the rest of the knowledge we have, and what the implications are for us and the world.
Joining the book club is a great way to either continue a conversation you have started with this material or get to know how I and the folks I talk with approach this material.
There is no charge for these meetings.
If you are interested in joining the discussion please give me a call or email me for our next meeting time, and the current book and chapter. No previous exposure to the content is necessary, but be ready to have a lot more questions by the end of the time then when you started.
Labs
I have also created and led some labs to dig deeper into this content. These labs have been have been experiments based on worksheets or exercises inspired by how we understand how the brain works. We meet about weekly for a couple months to discuss and distinguish what we experienced. These have changed folks perceptions about what they used to take for granted.
And there is likely more to come!
